{"id":102923,"date":"2026-04-09T13:12:23","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T19:12:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/elinformante.mx\/?p=102923"},"modified":"2026-04-09T13:12:26","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T19:12:26","slug":"enrique-vargas-propone-reconocer-a-las-mascotas-como-seres-sintientes-en-la-ley","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elinformante.mx\/?p=102923","title":{"rendered":"ENRIQUE VARGAS PROPONE RECONOCER A LAS MASCOTAS COMO SERES SINTIENTES EN LA LEY"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El senador <strong>Enrique Vargas del Villar<\/strong>, vicecoordinador del PAN en el Senado, present\u00f3 iniciativas para <strong>fortalecer la protecci\u00f3n legal de las mascotas en M\u00e9xico<\/strong>, ante el alto \u00edndice de maltrato animal en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El legislador plante\u00f3 reformar el <strong>Art\u00edculo 4 Constitucional<\/strong> para que los animales dom\u00e9sticos sean reconocidos como <strong>seres sintientes<\/strong>, lo que implicar\u00eda garantizarles un trato digno y respetuoso dentro del marco legal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, propuso modificar el <strong>C\u00f3digo Civil<\/strong> para eliminar su consideraci\u00f3n como objetos de propiedad, y actualizar el <strong>C\u00f3digo Penal<\/strong> para que el robo o privaci\u00f3n ilegal de mascotas sea sancionado de forma similar al delito de abigeato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo con cifras citadas por el senador, alrededor del <strong>70% de los animales dom\u00e9sticos sufre alg\u00fan tipo de maltrato<\/strong>, y se estima que <strong>60 mil mueren al a\u00f1o por abuso<\/strong>, lo que evidencia la necesidad de reforzar la legislaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El objetivo de estas iniciativas es avanzar hacia un modelo legal m\u00e1s s\u00f3lido en materia de bienestar animal, similar al adoptado en pa\u00edses como Alemania, Espa\u00f1a y Francia.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El senador Enrique Vargas del Villar, vicecoordinador del PAN en el Senado, present\u00f3 iniciativas para fortalecer la protecci\u00f3n legal de las mascotas en M\u00e9xico, ante el alto \u00edndice de maltrato animal en el pa\u00eds.
